Career Opportunities

Some of the positions that we have to offer at Cornerstone Child Development Centers would be: Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Floater, Cook, Director and Director in Training.

You determine how high you want to go in your career with CCDC. We promote from within, based on performance; not seniority. Take advantage of any opportunity and enjoy the rewards with support and training every step of the way. You just need to take the leap.

Currently we are futuring the Director In Training position. As a Director in Training, you are the future of Cornerstone Child Development Centers. You’ll be given real responsibility and you are expected to own it. We’ll empower you to experience, explore and thrive.  The more you put into the program, the more you’ll get out of it.

As a Director in Training, your learning will be hands-on. You’ll take care of families, connect with your community and live our values. In addition, learn what goes into managing a child development center.

“In July 2014, I interviewed for an NC Pre-K Position at Main (Corporate Site) and during my interview I expressed my long-term goal of wanting to become a childcare administrator. Little did I know, that the director in training position was soon to become vacant. Because I had the administrative credentials, had a successful interview, and expressed the desire to be an administrator, I was given the opportunity to fill this role. I am learning every day and enjoy the challenges and facilitate management strategies that I have learned and have been taught. Every day is a new day and I enjoy connecting with families and the educators to help provide the best care possible for children and families. I am thankful to my Director and Executive Director for believing in me and allowing me to have this amazing opportunity.”           –Misty Bowers-Eagle
