Some of the positions that we have to offer at Cornerstone Child Development Centers would be: Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Floater, Cook, Director and Director in Training.

Currently we are futuring the Director In Training position. As a Director in Training, you are the future of Cornerstone Child Development Centers. You’ll be given real responsibility and you are expected to own it. We’ll empower you to experience, explore and thrive. The more you put into the program, the more you’ll get out of it.
As a Director in Training, your learning will be hands-on. You’ll take care of families, connect with your community and live our values. In addition, learn what goes into managing a child development center.

NOW Recruiting a Center Director

As a leader in early childhood education, Cornerstone Child Development Centers is currently seeking a qualified Director for our learning center. You will have a chance to be creative, be part of a supportive team, and make a difference in the lives of children and families we serve. Our mission is to help children discover the best in their world and in themselves by providing a loving, and supportive, learning environment using the holistic approach to child development through a cooperative partnership between parents and educators.
Salary: Competitive Salary, plus the potential for a quarterly bonuses based on professional and center financial performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the overall management of the center.

Hire, train, and supervise teachers and other staff.

Operate the school according to state licensing, sanitation and organizational standards.

Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities.

Purchase supplies, equipment, food and other materials necessary for program operations.

Execute marketing plan (both internal and external) necessary to maintain desired enrollment.

Ensure a safe environment for the children in our care.

Establish the development of positive relationships with parents, children, families and staff.

Evaluate and give feedback to the faculty on their performance, ensures that regular observations and feedback sessions are conducted in the assessment process.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:

BA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred.

NC Administrative Credentials, require Level 3.

Must pass a criminal background check.

Prefer at least two years of management experience.
-
Prefer at least 3 years of early childhood experience.
-
Must be a team builder, highly organized and possess excellent customer service/communication skills.

Knowledge of the NC Pre K Program a plus.
-
Knowledge of USDA and Food Program guidelines a plus.

Flexible and energetic.

Have the ability to juggle multiple duties.

Ability to resolve conflicts.

Computer proficient including Word, Excel and ability to learn other programs quickly.
