Megan Griffin, Director
Cornerstone Child Development Center South We welcome Megan Griffin, South Director, to the CCDC Leadership Team! Michelle Macon, Executive Director and Kris Parker, Director is training Megan at Cornerstone South and Main. Megan her husband and their daughter live in Salisbury. She considers herself blessed with the opportunity of traveling and living all over the world, because of being a military brat and a military wife. She spends a lot of her free time reading, hunting, fishing and running marathons. She is thrilled for the chance to be a part of CCDC this year and beyond. Megan believes all children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. She plans to assist her students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well embrace the differences of others. She started her early childhood career as a Paraprofessional at the School District for two years. Then I got an opportunity to become an Assistant Preschool Teacher for three years. Then a better option came along and I became a Lead Pre-K Teacher for two years after moving to North Carolina. This past year, I received my B.S in Human Services for Fort Hays State University located in Hays, Kansas.. When I started my career, I didn't think I would ever be a director; however, when I started working as a Paraprofessional, I learned how much I loved working with teachers and students. I enjoyed working with teachers and learning to grow, and interacting with students in large and small-group settings. I also enjoyed working with parents and ensuring a bright future for their child. Please welcome Megan to the team as you see her collaborating with all CCDC locations.
